In March 2024, we were thrilled to be approached by British outdoor and shooting brand Schöffel Country to create unique bow decorations for their Christmas campaign. They shared some inspiration images and sent us four beautiful tweed fabrics. We were tasked at making one large bow for a wreath and eight smaller ones for tree decorations.

We began by designing a custom pattern to ensure each bow would have a striking presence, perfectly showcasing the richness of Schöffel Country's tweeds. After several test runs, we found the ideal proportions for the bow and tails, then set to work cutting, pressing, and sewing. The tweed’s weight and quality, technically known as its GSM, allowed the bows to hold their shape elegantly, avoiding any sagging or drooping. We added a small cotton loop on the back of each bow for easy hanging, completing the design.

Just days after finishing, the bows travelled to Northumberland for a festive photoshoot with some truly glamorous models. The final results were stunning! I think we need to set about shopping the new winter wardrobe.
